 Staerkel Planetarium Director Dave Leake is helping us prepare for the first coast-to-coast total solar eclipse since 1918. (It's coming up on August 21!) Learn what causes solar eclipses, why they are so rare, and how you can safely view this amazing event.

For people of all ages.

Dave Leake is the director of the William M. Staerkel Planetarium at Parkland College. He also teaches classes in Parkland's Department of Natural Sciences.
