Our selections were all challenged for various reasons in libraries during the past year . The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie Junior, a Spokane Indian schoolboy, discovers that life in a nearby farm town is very different than growing up on the rez. Will he find the strength to fit in and still remain part of his tribe? Location: The MacFarlane-Hood Reading Room (First Floor) Contact: Mary Wilkes Towner Contact Number: 217-367-4405 | |
