Then Fundraising 101 is for you!

Join former professional fundraiser Brett Bonfield, as he shares his fundraising experience and recommendations. Tracey Dougherty,who holds a certificate in fundraising management from the University of Pennsylvania, will also be speaking.

Brett and Tracy will offer an overview of the basic theory and practice of fundraising, including:

  • Individual person-to-person fundraising
  • Grant Writing
  • Special events
  • Cycle of fundraising (cultivation, solicitation, stewardship)
  • Fundraising resources (software, blogs, etc.)

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Assess their funding environment
  • Choose appropriate fundraising strategies
  • Assess the use of consultants for portions of the fundraising cycle
    (where to spend money, and on whom.)

Receive 3 CEU Credits for attending this workshop.
