Come try your hand at computer coding! Children, grades K-6, will get to explore the coding program - Scratch. No experience is necessary. Join us to learn how to make your own games, cartoons, and more! Two sessions will be held each month, but both will cover the same lesson. Description
Children ages 8-12 are invited to join us for a new book club that will help make reading fun! This program will meet every 3rd Thursday of the month with a new book to read and unique ways to discuss it. Patrons are encouraged to take the books home to read and take notes on what you want to talk about next session. Write them out on post-its, draw your favorite scene, even act out the dialogue, it's up to you! Patrons can pick their books up any time in the month leading up to the program.

Come spend the day with a local Park Ranger from Lake Norman State Park. She will be going over the plants and animals you can find at the park, as well as going over fun activities you can do out at the park.
