Join Joel Pickford as he talks and presents photographs from his book, Soul Calling: A Photographic Journey Through the Hmong Diaspora. Pickford's photographs capture the life of Hmong villagers in Laos, in the refugee camps, and as they adapt to a new life in Central California. Pickford will show additional photographs not included in his book. Copies of Soul Calling will be available for purchase at the event.
