 Our final discussion will center on Kurt Vonnegut’s masterpiece, Slaughterhouse-Five. Considered by many to be the finest work of fiction ever written about World War II, the novel was inspired by the author ‘s experiences as a POW during the fire-bombing of Dresden in 1945. Discussion led by Prof. Paul Solon of Macalester.
