  Minnesota Railroad historian John Wickre will talk about the early days of railroading in the state, with an emphasis on Ramsey County. Wickre’s heavily illustrated presentation will trace the growth of the railroads from the 1880s, focusing on the role of J.J.Hill, the creator of the Great Northern Railroad. Learn about the railroads of Minnesota from the passengers' heyday of the 1940s and 1950s right up to the present.
