Description:
Science and Government; a First-Hand History
When the Environmental Protection Agency was established almost half a century ago under a Republican administration, scientists and government worked together to address the problems of pollution and other man-made hazards. In recent years, however, that once firm partnership has begun to erode. Join scientist Deborah Swackhamer for an eyewitness report on the increasingly problematic relationship between politics and science.
