Who's Buying Up St. Paul? Redevelopment & Historic Preservation in our Capital City
Anyone who's visited St. Paul in the last few years knows there have been big changes to the footprint of the city. From the gentrification of the Warehouse District to the rise of Light Rail Transit to the redevelopment of Downtown, the signs of new life are everywhere. But change doesn't happen in a vacuum. Join well-known geographer David Lanegran as he talks about the politics and economics behind the transformation of our urban landscape.
This program is co-sponsored by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute of the University of Minnesota [OLLI] with financial support from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
