10th anniversary of the Chanhassen Library celebration!

 10:15-10:45 Stories featuring Llama Llama in the children’s area
11:00- City Hall Plaza- The Roe Family Singers –for all ages! The Roe Family Singers are a husband-and-wife duo, Kim and Quillan Roe, that grew into a band. They play traditional versions of traditional songs. The band includes a jug and a musical saw player that gives it a new kind of sound. The Roe Family Singers are part of the new wave of string bands who start with the old music, but then let their imaginations wander and come up with something new. In case of rain, the musical performance will be held indoors.
also: The costumed character Llama Llama will be in the children’s area much of the day.
1-2 pm Come and meet some of the Senior Woodcarvers who created the beautiful carving above the fireplace in the library. They will demonstrate carving and show off some of their work.
