The Best Man (1964)
Henry Fonda and Cliff Robertson star in this bristling story of two candidates hoping to win their party’s presidential nomination. One is an intellectual with a sense of morality, the other an opportunist who is willing to win at any cost. The deciding factor is the endorsement of the out-going president who thrives on political in-fighting and deplores indecision. Gore Vidal wrote the screenplay and Franklin Shaffner directed the film.
Presented with the Highland Park Senior Center.
Sponsored by Home Instead Senior Care.
This event will take place in the Auditorium.
