Bring them to the Xenia Community Library, 76 E. Market Street, on, Saturday, April 17 from 1-4 p.m. to find out. Antiques dealers and appraisers, Gloria Phillips and Ellen Brannigan, will evaluate your antiques. Their areas of specialization are jewelry, porcelain, pottery, glass, crystal, art glass, silver, primitives, paintings and prints. There is a limit of two items per person and a cost of $5 per item to be evaluated. The proceeds of the Appraisal Fair will benefit the Greene County Public Library Foundation. Please do not bring antique weapons for evaluation including but not limited to guns, knives, and swords. Any item’s value depends on several factors. Appraisal experts will take into account the items condition, current market trends and intended selling location. The values given at the Library’s Appraisal Fair are considered “verbal approximations of value”. Location: Meeting Room, 1st Floor | |
