Jeff Lange, Michigan LoonWatch Area Coordinator of LoonCorps Northern Michigan, and Wildlife Filmmaker, created the film "Dance of the Sandhill Crane" in 2016. Tragically. Jeff passed away from a heart attack in February 2019 at the height of his film and musical career, while doing something he loved the most: snow-shoeing and enjoying nature. His life and musical partner, Lee Anne Whitman, is carrying on Jeff's legacy by sharing his film and songs they created for their folk music bond "Indigo Moon". After the film presentation, Lee Anne will bring her guitar and voice to share some of Indigo Moon's original nature-inspired music. Jeff and Lee Anne's love of nature, from the tiny mayfly to the vast universe, convey this love and fascination into the lines of their music.
