Why rely on refined sugar when you can make lush desserts with perfectly ripe fruit? When you think “dessert,” you probably think of cakes and cookies, but fresh fruits make ideal treats thanks to their natural sweetness. During this program, we’ll explore ways to ditch refined sugars in favor of fruit-based desserts, which are tastier and carry less of a glycemic load than traditional flour- and sugar-based desserts. Fresh fruits, frozen fruits, dried fruits, preserved fruits, even dehydrated fruits…they’re all delicious! Bonus: you can use fruits in savory settings, too.
