We will explore dementia as an umbrella term. This session will serve as an introductory session on Teepa Snow’s model of the GEMS® to talk about the progression of most dementias. We will touch briefly on different types of dementias and common changes to expect. Finally, we will work on a few interaction skills that will provide you with a more positive outcome for both parties.
