Make a lovely snow globe you can give as a gift for a family member or friend. If you'd like to, you can bring a small plastic friend to put in your jar. If you have a small jar of your own that you would like to use such as baby food jars, pimiento jars, diced garlic jars or tall skinny olive jar feel free to bring that in too.

American Girl Club

Join us on the first Thursday of each month from 4 -5 pm for our new "American Girl" book club! No registration is required - the club is ideal for children aged 8-12 who love the American girl book series. Each month we will read and discuss a different book, and sometimes talk about the history, food, and crafts associated with the time period of the "American Girl" featured. Sometimes we will read an "American Girl" mystery, just to add some suspense to the mix! The club begins on February 5th, 2009 from 4-5 pm and we will feature the book "Meet Samantha" by Susan S. Adler, and will make and learn more about Victorian Valentine cards! Participants are welcome to bring their dolls to meetings, too!

Classic Movie at the Chili Public Library!

Join us for a showing of that all time favorite, "White Christmas," starring Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye. Two talented song-and-dance men--reserve officers--team up after the war with a sister act (Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen) and trek to Vermont for a white Christmas. Shenanigans begin when they discover that the inn they've chosen is run by their old army general, played by Dean Jagger, who's in financial trouble. Popcorn and beverages are provided. Titles are tentative depending on availability.
