Join us on the first Thursday of each month from 4 -5 pm for our new "American Girl" book club! No registration is required - the club is ideal for children aged 8-12 who love the American girl book series. Each month we will read and discuss a different book, and sometimes talk about the history, food, and crafts associated with the time period of the "American Girl" featured. Sometimes we will read an "American Girl" mystery, just to add some suspense to the mix! The club begins on February 5th, 2009 from 4-5 pm and we will feature the book "Meet Samantha" by Susan S. Adler, and will make and learn more about Victorian Valentine cards! Participants are welcome to bring their dolls to meetings, too!
