Ten Moral Moments in the Life of Abraham Lincoln

Event Type: Adult Program
Age Group(s): Adult
Date: 2/15/2018
Start Time: 7:00 PM
End Time: 8:00 PM
Description:
Throughout Lincoln’s entire life family, neighbors, lawyers, political allies and enemies alike were taken aback by this tall ‘prairie lawyer’ who was a poorly dressed ‘westerner’ with little formal education, a western ‘twang’ in his voice and a penchant for telling stories and jokes.
Yet when he spoke….or acted….on behalf of causes, people or principles….people took note of how devoid he was of malice, self-interest, greed or the need to simply ‘win’ cases or elections.
Come hear ten stories of Abraham Lincoln from a story-telling historian who has been studying our 16th president for over 40 years; Glenn W. LeBoeuf.

Location: Larison Room
Presenter: Glenn W. LeBoef
