World War II Veterans who reside in Cherry Hill will be honored on Wednesday, May 20th at the Cherry Hill Public Library. Senator James Beach, whose father is a WWII veteran, and Cherry Hill Mayor Chuck Cahn will be the guest speakers. Registration is required by Friday, May 8th due to limited seating capacity. Simply call the Cherry Hill Public Library, Claire Schmieder at 856-903-1225, and request a reservation for the Honoring WWII Veterans event. Each veteran is permitted to be accompanied by one guest. Hosting this event are Cherry Hill Public Library, American Legion Post 372 of Cherry Hill and the Jewish War Veterans Post 126 of Cherry Hill and is being done in conjunction with the libraries project to video interview Cherry Hill veterans and the Township’s Memorial Day event.
