Blue Hill Public Library Assistant Director Hannah Cyrus will lead a workshop on beginning internet skills, at the Blue Hill Public Library on Tuesday, February 4th at 2:00 PM. This workshop will cover finding internet services, using web browsers, and the cloud. This will be a slow-paced, beginner-level workshop for anyone who wants to learn more about using the internet, even if they've never used it before.Click here for directions
More and more, the internet is a way for citizens to interact with public agencies to receive services, pay taxes and locate information. This workshop will help people not familiar with using the internet to feel more confident in getting started with a web browser.
This event is free of charge and open to anyone, but space is limited so registration is required, and can be done using the library’s web calendar at www.bhpl.net or by calling the library at 374-5515. Participants should use the "notes" field to indicate if they would like to use a computer provided by the library for this workshop, or bring their own laptop. This event is sponsored by the library.
