The 2017 film "Rodin" stars Vincent Lindon as the famous French sculptor Auguste Rodin, portraying his romance with Camille Claudel and his art career during the middle period of his life. Film attendees may sign up for a hands-on workshop on Saturday, February 29th at 4:00 PM, where they will have the opportunity to sculpt from a live model.
The film event is free and open to all, but space in the hands-on art workshop can only be reserved at the film screening, and is limited to those who attend the film.
Margret is a certified art instructor with 25 years in the public school system and private teaching experience. She expanded her exposure to art and artists through her curatorial work during eight years of employment at the Blue Hill Public Library. She has exhibited widely, and in the summer runs her neighborhood "Little Gallery" in Surry.
