Friends of the Library Film Series: The Ox-Bow Incident

 The Friends of the Blue Hill Public Library’s second-Thursday-of-the-month film series will continue on Thursday, January 10th at 7:00 PM with the Ox-Bow Incident (1943), directed by William A. Wellman and starring Henry Fonda and Dana Andrews. Set in 1885 in a small western town, the film follows two drifters who are passing through when news comes in that a local farmer has been murdered and his cattle stolen. The townspeople, joined by the drifters, form a posse to catch the perpetrators.

All films are shown free of charge on the library’s “pretty big” screen in the Howard Room. For more information, call the library at 374-5515.
