Animals Spell L-O-V-E: Storytime with author David Cundy

Event Type: Library-sponsored Juvenile Event
Date: 8/5/2017
Start Time: 10:00 AM
End Time: 11:00 AM
Deer Isle summer resident and children’s author David Cundy will share his new book, Animals Spell Love, in a story time at the Blue Hill Public Library on Saturday August 5th at 10:00 AM. In Animals Spell Love, sixteen animals help readers of all ages learn how to express the word in sixteen languages from around the globe, from Czech to Amharic to Korean, and even American Sign Language.

Animals Spell Love is Cundy’s debut children's book, following a long career in the graphic arts and academia. He says, “Animals Spell Love reflects my life philosophy, a mature worldview formed over a lifetime. That is this: We owe it to ourselves to make each other's lives better, and the world a better place. Animals Spell Love exhorts children and adults to reflect and act accordingly – as only a book can do.”

Books will be available for sale and signing. This event is sponsored by the library. There is no charge, and everyone is welcome. For more information, call the library at 374-5515.
