As part of the NEA Big Read sponsored by the Poughkeepsie Library we will be holding our annual Literary Salon. Eileen Pucci, a librarian at Green Haven facility will be reading works from the Green Haven Writer's group. The general public is also welcome to read their own works or those from a favorite author. Each reading is about ten minutes. All works need to be submitted prior to the reading to kreilly@beekmanlibrary. Writing themes should be based around the Big Read book, Burning Bright by Ron Rash. Light refreshments will be served.
