Age Group(s): Family, Family
Date: 5/19/2018
Start Time: 2:30 PM

Otha Day will be bringing his many drums to the library and will lead a large drum circle. Through the experience of rhythm and sound we experience what it means to beat as one heart: we become a vibrant community. With playful and accessible rhythm activities, games, traditional ensemble pieces, songs and most importantly improvisation. All ages are encouraged to attend. This event will take place outside if weather is good, otherwise it will be held in the Community room. Please register all family members attending. Bring lawn chairs if weather is good. This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by Arts Mid-Hudson.
