We will be knitting a simple baby blanket. This is a good project for beginners, but all levels are welcome. If you are a knitter and would like to bring your own project, feel free. There will be two sessions offered for this project and more will be scheduled if needed.
To make the Baby Blanket you will need...
1 x 3 ½ oz (100g) ball Aran-weight baby yarn in each of four matching shades (A, B, C, D)
US 8 (UK 6, 5 mm) knitting needles
US F 5 (UK 9, 3.75 mm) crochet hook
Gauge
Each square measures 6 in (15cm)
Size
24in (60 cm)square
Tapestry needle for sewing up
Blanket
The blanket is made in four strips, each containing 4 squares. Each strip is worked in a specific color and pattern sequence.
Plain Square
Make 4 plain squares in each of the 4 colors, 16 in total.
