Let the creativity flow! We will be creating collages out of various mediums (paint, cloth, photocopied photos, old books, etc) that represent our own or our families immigration to the United States. This will be a two session event. Please bring copies of relevant photos or memorabilia. When the collages are complete, those who would like to tell their story can share with the group. This is an activity that takes some planning. Think about what it must have been like to immigrate to the US, dreams, old traditions, new way of life. This event is part of the NEA Big Read events. Registration required.
