Description:
Mr. Roosevelt will be sharing stories of his life as he looks back on them from the year of 1915. Stories of his childhood, family, and early life as a ranchman in the Dakota Badlands will be told along with stories of his early days in Washington and New York City politics. His fights and triumphs as President will come in the form of tales about the national parks, international affairs, and the square treatment of every American. Colonel Roosevelt (his preferred title) lived a life large enough for a dozen lifetimes. After the formal presentation Mr. Roosevelt will take any and questions the audience may have for him. Theodore Roosevelt was a completely unique American President and a leader who represented his time as perfectly as possible. Roosevelt is portrayed by Gib Young. Program sponsored by the Bartholomew County Library Associates.
