Deb Anderson, Director of the UW-Green Bay Archives and Area Research Center, will share some strategies for finding your immigrant ancestors. Anderson will focus on the process of becoming a citizen and the records that were generated from the process. Other original documents yielding rich immigrant history clues will also be discussed.

About our speaker:
Deb has served as the director of the UW-Green Bay Archives and Area Research Center for nearly thirty years. Prior to this role, she served as an archivist at the Wisconsin Historical Society. She also regularly serves as a mentor and consultant for local county historical societies and libraries. Deb is passionate about helping researchers use archival records to find clues for their family histories.
