Teens who attend this Anime Night will have a chance to use learn swordplay from the Wisconsin Historical Fencing Association (WHFA) is a martial arts club that studies HEMA—Historical European Martial Arts.They'd like to give you a demonstration and a hands-on introduction. Go old school for an evening with Aaron, a HEMA scholar for the past 20 years; Sarah, a HEMA competitor with multiple medals to her credit; and Danielle, a scholar of several years. Before we learn swordplay we will also vote on the Anime that we will see and have tasty snacks. Wear comfortable sweats and consider bringing a water bottle, WFHA will provide the practice swords and helmets! We will now be in meeting room C at the library.
