Program Description:
Come and discover or rediscover the passion, pleasure and fun of the well turned phrase. Participants will read a variety of poems from limericks to sonnets, written by a variety of poets from Shakespeare to Billy Collins. While the focus of the class is to read and discuss poetry, each session will include a word play exercise to encourage participants to discover and explore their own creative bent.

Facilitator:
Camille Wade Maurice has an extensive and varied background in human services. She has been a social worker, psychotherapist, administrator, college professor and a speaker/consultant for health care organizations in the U.S and Canada. Camille is both poetry lover and poet. For twelve years she facilitated poetry classes for the Learning in Retirement program in Nicolet College in Rhinelander. Co-sponsored by The Mill.
