It has been flooded and drained, and its birds slaughtered. It has been drained again and farmed and set afire--and then restored as a national treasure. This is the wild story of a wild place, told by its historian. Led by Bob Schmall, history lecturer. Funding provided by the Friends of Appleton Public Library.
