2:00-3:00 The Sum of all Parts-A PowerPoint presentation of sculptural images and their development will show how combining strange or even familiar components can suggest metaphor, irony and satire. Also covered will be source materials and inspiration for specific artworks. Funding provided by the Friends of Appleton Public Library.
3:00-4:00 The Process of Assemblage-A further exploration of assemblage will demonstrate the more involved aspects of combining objects. Actual works in progress of a futuristic and biomorphic nature will be continued with the help of attendees.
